Creative Arts Programs

Thanks to a grant from the Public School Foundation, students at Phoenix Academy—where there is no dedicated art teacher or formal art classes—will participate in monthly visual arts sessions at The ArtsCenter throughout the 2025–2026 school year. Working with professional artists, they will explore manga drawing in the fall and ceramics in the spring, building skills in visual storytelling, design, and hands-on creation.
Beyond learning new techniques, this program creates space for self-expression, connection, and joy—key elements in supporting student wellness and engagement. Made possible in part through support from the Orange County Arts Commission, this partnership ensures Phoenix Academy students have meaningful access to creative opportunities both inside and beyond the classroom.
