The 5K for Education and 1K Fun Run is held each March on UNC’s beautiful campus at McCorkle Place. For over 20 years it has grown into the largest 5K in Chapel Hill, highlighting our community’s commitment to public education, our schools, and our teachers.
The 1K Fun Run is a perfect way for families with younger children to participate and build the next generation of 5K runners.

Details
$10 from every adult registration goes to the school you choose, while additional proceeds fund Teachers First and year-round educator programs.
