Each May, the Public School Foundation partners with CHCCS to honor extraordinary educators and staff. Recognizing excellence is a core priority for PSF, reflecting its belief that every child deserves the best education and that excellent teachers and staff ignite learning.
Through Teaching Chairs, Distinguished Service honors, and additional awards across all staff positions, PSF celebrates the dedication, skill, and impact of those who make our schools thrive.

During the evening, over 90 teachers and staff are recognized for their dedication and excellence. PSF provides awards ranging from $100 to $1,250, including PSF-endowed Teaching Chairs as well as district-wide awards such as District Teacher of the Year, Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year, support staff, and classified employees of the year. These recognitions reflect PSF’s ongoing commitment to celebrating and supporting educators and staff at every stage of their careers.
