ELA Curriculum Development

With funding from the PSF, teachers across grade levels and schools collaborate on the K–5 ELA Standards Revision—updating lessons, aligning assessments, and ensuring instruction reflects new state standards. Rather than working in isolation, they share expertise, refine ideas, and create consistency in every classroom.
This collaboration matters. When teachers work together, students benefit from high-quality, aligned instruction no matter which school they attend.
Grants like this don’t just support classrooms—they create the time and space for educators to learn from one another and build stronger outcomes for all students.
