Bite-of-Benin

Chapel Hill High students experienced West African culture through a PSF-funded visit from NC Chef of the Year Adé Carrena. Born in Benin, Chef Carrena led over 500 students in a culinary and cultural exploration, including a screening of A Bite of Benin and hands-on cooking. The project highlighted diverse voices in the curriculum and inspired students to celebrate their own cultural identities.
