Choral Collaboration
Students from East Chapel Hill High School and Phillips Middle School came together in January 2026 for a memorable choral collaboration, guided by renowned guest conductor Anthony Sears from New Orleans. Over two days, students participated in masterclasses, rehearsals, and a final concert that showcased both schools’ individual talents and their combined ensembles. This unique experience gave high school singers the chance to mentor younger students, while middle schoolers gained inspiration to continue their choral journey into high school.
The collaboration not only strengthened musical skills but also fostered connection, mentorship, and a shared love of singing, leaving students and the community with memories that will resonate for years to come.
