New American Scholarship

The New American Scholarship is valued at $8,000 ($4,000 for year one and $4,000 for year two). Requirements include:

  • CHCCS Senior in good standing
  • Immigrant to the US
  • Academic Excellence
  • Acceptance to a two or four year college, university or specialized school
  • Updates on academic progress after their first year

*Though AI can be useful to help find words to express oneself and check grammar – when reviewing applications, the members of the scholarship selection committees will look for answers that reflect the applicant’s specific experiences and provide examples.
