Deshera Mack Scholarship
This is a one time $1,000 scholarship in memory of Deshera Mack. The award will be paid by the Public School Foundation to the two or four year post- secondary school the recipient plans to attend. To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
- Graduating senior in good standing from a Chapel Hill-Carrboro High School
- Meaningful volunteer experience
- Interest in pursuing a career in Education
*While financial need is not a requirement for this scholarship, the committee may take financial circumstances into account in the event of a tie between equally qualified applicants. Applicants are encouraged to provide financial information if they would like it considered during the selection process.
