The R.D. Smith scholarship is a one time $500 scholarship payable to the university, college, vocational or trade school the student plans to attend.
Eligibility criteria includes:
- Chapel Hill-Carrboro senior in good academic standing
- Student must have completed at least one CTE course
- Financial need
- Shows promise for the future
