NBPTS and School Nurse Assistance

The Public School Foundation provides financial assistance to CHCCS teachers and nurses pursuing NBPTS certification. Eligible applicants can receive up to $1,000 in reimbursement: $475 after submitting proof of payment for the first component, and an additional $525 upon successful completion of all four components. This support is available for first-time certification only. Additional support includes:

  • Renewal (5-year): $250
  • Nurse Initial Certification: $180
  • Nurse Renewal: $125

 

Recipients must commit to remaining with CHCCS for two full years after certification or renewal.

This form is for Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools teachers and nurses to request PSF Teachers First fund assistance for National Board Professional Teaching Standards Certification and Renewals.
