Zora Rashkis Chair for Excellence in Teaching Middle School Language Arts or Social Studies

Created in honor of Zora Rashkis, a beloved teacher at Phillips and Culbreth Middle Schools, this endowed Chair recognizes outstanding middle school Language Arts or Social Studies teachers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently teaches middle school Language Arts or Social Studies

  • Has three or more full years of teaching in CHCCS in their current position

  • Must not have previously received this Teaching Chair

  • Plans to remain in CHCCS for at least 2 more years

  • Presented on a two-year cycle
