Mel and Zora Rashkis Chair for Excellence in Teaching Healthful Living and Physical Education

Established in 2017–18 through the Rashkis Trust, this Chair honors outstanding K–12 teachers in healthful living and/or physical education.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Teaches healthful living or PE in grades K–12

  • Has three or more full years of teaching in CHCCS in their current position

  • Must not have previously received this Teaching Chair

  • Plans to remain in CHCCS for at least 2 more years

  • Presented on a three-year cycle
