Burton Stuart Chair for Promising New Secondary Teacher in Math or Science

Created in honor of “Bud” Stuart, first Teaching Chair recipient, this Chair recognizes beginning middle or high school Math or Science teachers who show exceptional promise.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Middle or high school Math or Science teacher with <3 years teaching experience

  • Must not have previously received this Teaching Chair

  • Plans to remain in CHCCS for at least 2 more years

  • Presented on a three-year cycle
